Adroit Consulting, Inc. recently sponsored its 3rd Quarter Sales Performance Council Meeting on July 23rd with a meeting of 20 sales and marketing executives from non-competitive industrial manufacturing firms.

The peer executives gathered at ACCO Brand's facilities in Lincolnshire, Il to discuss shared challenges and identify best practice solutions that they can implement at their respective organizations. Key topics discussed at this meeting included Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and measuring the effectiveness of sales and marketing investments. Additionally, the Executives discussed their trade show programs and how to make the most return out of investment in this channel. Adroit created the Council in response to after fielding requests from client companies and industry contacts for new ways to meet other industrial executives and share best practices and solutions to common challenges in an open and candid environment not found at traditional trade shows or conferences. The intent of the Council is to create a “Community of Practice” for sales and marketing executives from non-competitive companies. Ongoing council meetings are hosted by member companies on a quarterly basis and content is presented by Council members. Non-members must be invited by a Council member for a specific agenda item.
