Adroit Consulting Presented OnDemand Sales Tools Case Study at National Manufacturing Week ConferenceSPX Corporation, BigMachines shared lessons learned Northbrook, IL The session titled, "Process Orders More Rapidly & Accurately with Integrated OnDemand Sales Configuration Tools" was held following a presentation on how to use market intelligence to drive manufacturing improvements. Adroit Consulting shared insight into how customers can optimize quoting and ordering processes, and how enabling technologies, such as on-demand quoting tools with ERP integration, can quickly turn quotes for configured products into orders. Adroit Consulting CEO Stan Martin and Principal Kathleen Johnson were joined by Jeff Sporer, National Sales Manager at SPX Corporation and Greg Swender, Vice President of Marketing at BigMachines. SPX talked about its successful implementation of the BigMachines quote, configurator and proposal platform to improve sales and reduce costs. The system dynamically generates base object models (BOMs) and computer-aided design (CAD) drawings, which are automatically fed into the SPX enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and sent to the factory floor.
