Letter from the CEO - Our Values and Value Proposition

A perspective on working at Adroit, from our CEO.

Imagine a new kind of consulting company. One where the priority is serving clients and teamwork. A company built to sustain itself rather than in support of the most current trend, the next big thing or another “paradigm shift”. If you have come to this page, maybe you work for one of those other companies. Maybe you have lost your job or are wondering if or when you will. Imagine what could have been different?

I have been a client and a consultant. I have helped build several companies, including one of the most dynamic consulting firms of the last decade. Adroit Consulting is the most exciting, dynamic and intellectually rewarding firm I have ever worked for and that is how I envisioned it from the beginning.

Our team is growing and we are looking to expand our “family”. We are a collegial group of highly skilled professionals dedicated to serving clients and improving their businesses. We believe in a few fundamental principles:

  • Adding measurable value to our clients is the primary way we measure our own self worth.
  • Quality and client satisfaction is always our first priority. Our delivery approaches are designed to ensure these standards.
  • Staying ahead of the learning curve is an individual’s responsibility as a professional. Doing so requires structured career development programs and an attitude of personal intellectual curiosity.
  • Innovation is a way of life. When we get “it” right, we stabilize and innovate. Not for the sake of change itself, but to improve on the value we provide to our clients and to stay one step ahead…
  • Respect for the individual, and each other, as the foundation of a great company.
  • Balancing life with work and work with life requires flexible work schedules, a casual (but professional) environment, having fun and competitive benefits that recognize it is not just about work.
  • Building a sustainable, great company is about making money. Making money is about hard work and sharing. When our customers make money, we all benefit. We share our profits throughout the company, not just with the senior leadership. We are about making money and creating wealth for our stakeholders and employees. We are proud and passionate about that. But we do it the old fashioned way…we earn it!

You should also know that we do not believe in other things:

  • Hierarchies, personal fiefdoms and bureaucracies.
  • Politics as a measure of contribution, promotion and self worth.
  • Just having a “job”.
  • Bubbles…other than the ones that come in the little bottles with the wands!
